Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Jesús Pérez, quien partió de este mundo el 15 de febrero de 2026 en su hogar en Bells, rodeado de su querida familia. Nacido el 8 de julio de 1956, Jesús fue un hombre de múltiples talentos y un gran amor, apreciado no solo por su gran sentido del humor, sino también por sus profundos vínculos con su familia y amistades.
Jesús dejó una huella significativa a lo largo de su carrera como paisajista, dedicando muchos años a cultivar la belleza de los jardines que cuidaba. Su amor por la naturaleza reflejaba su espíritu protector, y estaba especialmente orgulloso de su extraordinaria habilidad para la jardinería: cultivar plantas y flores en grandes cantidades.
Devoto hombre de familia, la mayor alegría de Jesús provenía de su esposa, Maribel Pérez. Su amor por ella era profundo, y abrazó el papel de romántico al máximo, demostrándole siempre cuánto la apreciaba. Juntos, formaron una hermosa familia que incluye a su hija, Edna Morales, y sus hijos, Bernardo A. Pérez, Sr. y Jesús E. Pérez, Sr., junto con sus respectivas parejas, Poncho, Mireya y Melissa. Jesús adoraba a sus quince nietos y tres bisnietos, dejando un legado de risas y cariño que perdurará a lo largo de las generaciones.
Jesús era conocido no solo por su talento, sino también por su calidez y amabilidad. Era un gran bromista, siempre dispuesto a encontrar las palabras adecuadas para alegrar el ambiente, y su deliciosa receta familiar de pollo jugoso unía a todos en la mesa. En su tiempo libre, disfrutaba pescando y compartiendo momentos inolvidables con amigos y familiares, creando recuerdos que recordará con cariño.
Compartía un vínculo increíble con sus hermanos Guadalupe, José y Mario Alberto Pérez, y su hermana Enedelia Adame. Sus vínculos se extendían más allá de la familia, con una amistad especial para toda la vida con Claudio Santiago y una hermosa relación con su suegra y mejor amiga, Evangelina Martínez. Aunque su partida deja un profundo vacío, el amor que Jesús transmitió y los recuerdos que creó serán atesorados por su familia por siempre, recordándoles una vida llena de risas, amor y calidez genuina. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Longino y Antonia Pérez, sus hermanos Pedro y Francisco Pérez, y sus hermanas Elena Pérez, María V. Pérez y María Guadalupe Pérez.
Al reunirnos para honrar su vida, celebremos la alegría que nos trajo a todos. El velatorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Bells el 17 de febrero de 2026, de 17:00 a 20:00 h, seguido del servicio fúnebre el 18 de febrero de 2026 a la 13:00 h, que culminará con el entierro en el Parque Memorial Oakview en Álamo a las 14:00 h.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesús Pérez, who left this world on February 15, 2026, at his home in Bells, surrounded by his beloved family. Born on July 8, 1956, Jesús was a man of many talents and great love, cherished not only for his great sense of humor but also for his deep bonds with his family and friends.
Jesús left a significant mark throughout his career as a landscape designer, dedicating many years to cultivating the beauty of the gardens he tended. His love for nature reflected his protective spirit, and he was especially proud of his extraordinary skill in gardening: growing plants and flowers in large quantities.
A devoted family man, Jesús’s greatest joy came from his wife, Maribel Pérez. His love for her was profound, and he embraced the role of romantic to the fullest, always showing her how much he cherished her. Together, they raised a beautiful family that includes his daughter, Edna Morales, and his sons, Bernardo A. Pérez, Sr. and Jesús E. Pérez, Sr., along with their respective partners, Poncho, Mireya, and Melissa. Jesús adored his fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, leaving a legacy of laughter and affection that will endure for generations to come.
Jesus was known not only for his talent, but also for his warmth and kindness. He was a great joker, always ready with the right words to lighten the mood, and his delicious family recipe for juicy chicken brought everyone together around the table. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and sharing unforgettable moments with friends and family, creating memories he would cherish.
He shared an incredible bond with his siblings Guadalupe, José, and Mario Alberto Pérez, and his sister Enedelia Adame. His connections extended beyond family, with a lifelong friendship with Claudio Santiago and a beautiful relationship with his mother-in-law and best friend, Evangelina Martínez. Although his passing leaves a profound void, the love Jesús shared and the memories he created will be treasured by his family forever, reminding them of a life filled with laughter, love, and genuine warmth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Longino and Antonia Pérez, his brothers Pedro and Francisco Pérez, and his sisters Elena Pérez, María V. Pérez, and María Guadalupe Pérez.
As we gather to honor her life, let us celebrate the joy she brought to us all. Visitation will be held at Bells Funeral Home on February 17, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service on February 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., culminating in interment at Oakview Memorial Park in Alamo at 2:00 p.m.
