Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church held a mobile food pantry distribution Thursday.
This mobile pantry was for residents who qualified for snap benefits, house energy assistance, SSI, and other government assistance programs.
There were a few Tennessee state troopers on site to also help with the distribution.
“There are many sources of food that are not available anymore and the food bank is still providing this service and they work though groups like us and we’re just glad to serve the community,” said Mary Love.
This food drive event was in partnership with the Mid-South food bank.
