North Side girls basketball Head Coach Ken Northcut retires
North Side Lady Indians Head Basketball Coach, Ken Northcut has decided to retire.
Early in his career he spent time coaching Milan girls and Riverside boys. Then before North Side, he spent 18 seasons coaching Trinity Christian Academy boys basketball team where he led them to three district championships, three region runner-ups and three sectional appearances. During that time, he also coached Trinity girls as well.
Coach Northcut took to Facebook earlier today to make the announcement.
Here is some of what he had to say, “After much prayer and reflection, I have decided that this past season will be my last as a basketball coach. As I step away from coaching I do so with peace, knowing that God’s plans are good and his timing is perfect.”
