Actor Nick Darnell greets fans at local talent expo
JACKSON, Tenn.—One nationally recognized actor, as the voice of the Grinch and industry professional, is returning to where it all began.
Actor Nick Darnell presented a Model & Talent Expo alongside the City of Jackson and the Ned McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center Saturday.
A Meet & Greet and Open Auditions were held at the Ned, the very same place Darnell got his start in the modeling and entertainment industry.
“This is where I started and where I got discovered back in 2020. So I’m just coming back to pave the way, look for those future actors, future singers, anybody who has talent and a platform to show it for,” Darnell said.
The event offered aspiring models, actors, and performers of all ages the opportunity to meet Darnell in person, learn about the entertainment industry, and audition for the Model & Talent Expo, a premier showcase that connects new talent with top agents, scouts, and industry decision-makers from across the country.
“I am just here to see all the lovely people in J-town, this is where I’m from. We are also hosting the auditions for the Model & Talent Expo which will take place in Dallas, Texas. Don’t tell people your dreams, Show them, ‘Show them’ *Grinch voice* okay,” Darnell continued.
Aspiring models and actors are provided with the professional tools and confidence needed to thrive in a changing industry and to ignite potential and create meaningful pathways for talent to be seen and launched.
