Exotic Pet Expo offers a look at the unique
JACKSON, Tenn.—Scaly, slithering and furry! Unique species return to the Jackson Fairgrounds for an interesting event.
The Exotic Pet Expo was back in action this weekend.
The event includes several vendors with an array of unique species to meet or even buy to take home. Snakes, lizards of all kinds, and kangaroos have been featured at the expo.
There is also a great deal of pet-related gear including treats, clothes, cages and more.
Admission to the event is $5 with children under the age of 11 getting in for free.
It’s an event that any animal or reptile enthusiast can enjoy.
“I like Jackson. Like I said, I’ve been doing this show for a few years now and it’s got a great turn out. The community really supports us, so they come out and show us and we try to give them a good time and let them learn about some of the animals,” said Brent Bailey, owner of Exquisite Balls and Exotic Pets.
This month’s event concluded at 4 p.m. Sunday, but the Exotic Pet Expo will return later this year on August 8th and 9th.
