Hub City Theatre Company brings performances to an unexpected venue

JACKSON, Tenn.—A local theatre group offers a unique production and it’s not in your typical venue.

Hub City Theatre Company recently began performing its newest play. “A Thing of Beauty,” which is a WWII drama, is being performed in the chapel at First United Methodist Church in Downtown Jackson. 

The drama occurs around the audience, offering a unique immersive experience. 

It follows characters as they navigate a time of making choices amidst fear and staying true to one’s beliefs. 

Performances began on February 20 and will continue until March 1st. 

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in person or online.
