Jackson city council leaders meet for work session and agenda review
DOWNTOWN JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson city council met for a work session Thursday evening followed by an agenda review.
Under new business is consideration of an amendment to the contract with Neel-Schaffer for professional engineering services related to the Great Wolf Lodge access road.
There’s also a resolution to memorialize Dr. Melvin Wright, Sr. by designating North Hays Avenue, from East College Street to Lexington Avenue, as Dr. Melvin Wright, Sr. Boulevard.
Also on the agenda is consideration of a contract with Ford Construction for street resurfacing.
The city council will meet on Tuesday, March 3rd at 9 a.m. at city hall.
