Wellpoint hosts its Winter Academy Workshop
JACKSON, Tenn.,—-And another event in the Hub City works to support parents, and students in the Madison County area.
Wellpoint Tennessee partnered with the Jackson-Madison County School System, Family Resource Center and many other community partner organizations to host its Winter Academy Workshop.
The event took place at Isaac Lane Elementary School from 9 a.m. until noon in Jackson.
At the academy, there were several organizations set up to provide various information on community resources available to local families.
Topics included promoting student success, exploring special education needs, and ways to support the health and wellness of family members.
The focus of the workshop is to deliver valuable resources while building stronger connections with trusted community partners.
The event also included fun activities for the kids, free food to enjoy along with the chance to win door prizes.
