Annual Blue Suede Dinner and Auction returns to the Hub City
JACKSON, Tenn.—The Carl Perkins Center for Child Abuse Exchange Club held their 32nd annual Blue Suede Dinner and Auction.
The 70’s themed event featured award-winning band, Sixwire, who performed 70’s hits from the classics.
The dinner and auction started over 30 years ago to raise funds for the center. But now funds will be directed to services for children in need, across West Tennessee.
Their mission is to provide support to children and families who have experienced abuse and need help with their practical needs.
“God has truly blessed us and West Tennessee has continued to support us and our kids and that makes all the difference in the world. We always hope to be what we did last year but we don’t ever set a monetary goal. Because we know that people will give what they can give and we’ll be happy to accept that to help our kids,” said Pam Nash, President and CEO of Carl Perkins Center for Child Abuse Exchange Club.
By attending the Blue Suede Dinner and Auction, you can make a difference in the life of a child.
