Local Jack and Jill of America chapter celebrates Founder’s Day

JACKSON, Tenn.—Jackson’s Jack and Jill of America chapter had their Founder’s Day and Mother’s Day Tea on Saturday afternoon.

The theme for the event was “Built on legacy, driven by leadership, defined by excellence”, which describes not only the members but the work the organization provides.

Attendees enjoyed snacks, conversation, and served tea for their fellow members and guests.

Chapter president, Robyn Winston-Hicks tells us how she feels about seeing her chapter.

“So we are anticipating, we are excited, we feel like this is just like a home coming because we haven’t seen them in so long, so were just ready to love on them, let them pour into us, for us to finish our program year and it’s just one big family reunion.” Winston-Hicks said.

The original event was cancelled due to the winter storm earlier this year, so members were excited to get the chance to celebrate.
