Production Tech (Part‑Time) — WBBJ‑TV (Jackson, TN)
WBBJ‑TV is seeking a part‑time Production Tech to join our team supporting the AM and Midday/Noon newscasts. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail‑oriented, and interested in live television production.
Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 4:30 a.m.–7:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 5:15 a.m.–9:15 a.m.
What You’ll Do
- Operate studio cameras, audio equipment, and other production tools.
- Assist with the execution of fast‑paced, top‑rated newscasts.
- Support the production team with various studio and control‑room tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to work early‑morning hours consistently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest or experience in broadcast production (preferred but not required).
- Reliability and attention to detail in a live production environment.
