Dyer County man arrested for aggravated sexual battery
DYERSBURG, Tenn. — The Dyer County Sheriff’s Office announces that as a result of an extensive investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division, George Aaron Pilkington, age 54, has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Sexual Battery (against a minor).
Following a thorough review of the evidence gathered during the investigation, it was determined that sufficient probable cause existed to support the arrest. Pilkington was taken into custody without incident.
Pilkington is scheduled to appear in Dyer County General Sessions Court on March 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
