New lodge planned for Natchez Trace State Park to feature restaurant, pool, and event space

WILDERSVILLE, Tenn. — Construction is underway on a new lodge at Natchez Trace State Park.

Officials broke ground on a 49-room lodge along the shores of Pin Oak Lake. Every guest room is designed to include waterfront views and a private balcony or patio.

The Lodge at Natchez Trace will include a restaurant, lounge, and conference space. The conference area will feature a boardroom and four meeting rooms that can be combined into a 200-person ballroom.

Outdoor plans include gathering areas with firepits and a zero-entry pool for lodge guests.

State Rep. Brock Martin, who represents House District 79, said the design will reflect the natural surroundings of the park.

“The design is going to be like I mentioned, a sportsman feel, so everything is going to be built into what we see naturally here. So, it’s going to be a state-of-the-art component, but it will be out in the wilderness, back in the woods. Which is what’s beautiful about Natchez Trace. It’s a state park, but a natural wooded area, and it’s going to highlight all the great things this community and area represents,” Martin said.
