Princesses and Pancakes, a magical fundraiser
LEXINGTON, Tenn.—A magical event in Henderson County raises money for an important cause.
Princesses and Pancakes took place Saturday morning at the National in Lexington.
The event included a fairytale experience for guests to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast in the company of some of their favorite storybook characters. Among the princesses were Ariel, Snow White, Moana, Rapunzel, and more.
Parents could bring their children dressed in their fanciest attire to join in the royal festivities which took place at two separate seating times, 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Tickets to the event were just $15.
“They were having so much fun, their faces lit up when the princesses came down. They are chasing them down trying to get their autographs on their little autograph cards. They’ve got their crowns and their little wands. And their goody bags and they’ve just had a big time,” said Candace Shearer, Practice manager of the Henderson County Animal Clinic.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Henderson County Carl Perkins Center.
