Corey Parker, ‘Will & Grace’ and ‘Friday the 13th’ actor, dies at 60, reports say

(Gray News) – Corey Parker, known for his roles in “Will & Grace” and “Friday the 13th: A New Beginning,” has died, according to reports.

Parker, who reportedly died following a cancer diagnosis, was 60.

Parker’s sister, Noelle, and a loved one, Risa Garcia, shared the news on Instagram.

“I believe he left this world weightless, at peace & surrounded with love,” Parker’s sister said.

Parker was born in New York on July 8, 1965. He was the son of actress Rocky Parker and her husband, John David Haas.

Parker had a recurring role as Josh in “Will & Grace” and was also featured on “As the World Turns,” “The New Leave It to Beaver,” “Thirtysomething,” “Flying Blind,” “Touched by an Angel,” “Love Boat: The Next Wave” and “Nashville.”

He also appeared in “Friday the 13th: A New Beginning,” “9 1/2 Weeks,” “Biloxi Blues,” “Big Man on Campus,” “Encino Woman” and “The Rainmaker.”
