Lane College presents its 12th annual Scholarship Gala

JACKSON, Tenn.—Lane College hosts an exciting event supporting the education and excellence of its students.

The annual Scholarship Gala took place at the J.F. Lane Gymnasium on campus beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The event remains one of the college’s largest events to support student scholarships as well as their access to educational opportunities.

This year’s gala included a special guest performance from Grammy Award-winning artist Kierra Sheard-Kelly.

Each year the event brings together alumni, corporate partners, leaders from religious organizations, and many others who see the importance in supporting HBCU’s.

This year’s event was the 12th gala to take place in support of Lane College students.
