Madison Co. Parks and Rec presents a dance fit for a “Queen and her Prince”

MADISON CO., Tenn.—It’s date night, but not your typical occasion. This time is set aside just for mothers and their sons.

Madison County Parks and Recreation hosted a fairytale experience Saturday evening.

Mothers and sons dressed up and two-stepped into the night at the “Queen and Her Prince” Mother and Son Dance.

Parks and Rec curated a finger food spread, lit up the room with disco lights, and got a DJ for the night.

Tony Ragland, who helped plan the event, tells us what’s happening.

“Well, you know we always do the Daddy Daughter Dance and so five or six years ago, started doing the Mother and Son Dance. So, it’s been working out ever since pretty good,” said Tony Ragland, Assistant Director at Madison Co. Parks and Recreation.

Madison County Parks and Recreation has many events coming up starting with their Easter on March 28th and their Daddy Daughter Dance in April.
