Carnegie Center Unveils “Pictures and Poems” exhibition

 

JACKSON Tenn — A new exhibition is making it’s way to the the Carnegie in Downtown Jackson.  The Carnegie Center for Arts and History unveiled it’s new exhibit called “Pictures & Poems.”  It’s a collaboration with a publisher from Virginia.  The pieces share stories using both pictures and a poem, hence the name.  The Opening Reception will be held this Thursday, March 12 from 5 to 7 p.m.

“We want to invite you after you get off of work to come hang out with us and check out the new exhibit we also have some publications that will be for sale. Four different volumes that will feature these artists,” said the Director of the Carnegie Center, Aaron Hardin.

The Carnegie Center for Arts and History is located at 305 East College Street in Jackson.
