19-year-old Crockett County man charged with rape of a child
CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — A 19-year-old man has been charged with rape of a child, a Class A felony, the Crockett County Sheriff’s Office said in a release Thursday.
Jason Burns was arrested following an investigation by Lt. Blake Perry of the Criminal Investigation Division at the Crockett County Sheriff’s Office.
The charge stems from allegations of unlawful sexual penetration of a victim between the ages of 8 and 13 years old.
Burns was arrested in Newbern by Dyer County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators. The investigation is ongoing.
