Jackson police investigating domestic shooting on Hill Street
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT:
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Police Department is currently investigating a domestic-related homicide that occurred Wednesday evening. On March 18, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Jackson Police officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence located at 6 Hill Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of an adult resident deceased inside the home.
A juvenile, who also resides at the residence, has been detained by police. While the specific details surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, the Jackson Police Department is not seeking any other individuals in connection with this incident at this time.
There is no ongoing threat to the public.
