Jackson Chapter of Links, Inc. presents a Wellness Expo

JACKSON, Tenn.—And another event in the Hub City promotes wellness this Spring.

The Jackson TN Chapter of the Links, Inc. hosted its Black Family Wellness Expo from 1 until 3:30 Saturday afternoon.

The expo focused on several topics including financial well-belling, literacy, physical and mental health, along with a variety of health issues.

The event featured training opportunities with a CPR table set up, mini-workshops, blood pressure checks and more.

There was also entertainment provided featuring the JCM dancers led by Nadia Beard.

Kids could also enjoy the event with an activity center made just for them and a bike giveaway.

“We’re really excited to be here today. We have a focus on literacy and we have several vendors here today, to make sure we are providing good information and entertainment. We hope to get our children out for our children’s activity center. And we’re just really excited to be out in the community today,” said Kimberly Jones, President of Jackson TN Chapter Links, Inc.

The event was free for the public to attend.
