Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’ set for Saturday in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Two local parks and recreation departments are teaming up for their annual Easter Eggstravaganza this Saturday, March 28.

The free community event includes games and activities for families, a visit from the Jackson Fire Department and a chance to see the Easter Bunny. Attendees will also have opportunities to win prizes.

Whitney Billingsley, superintendent of recreation for the City of Jackson, said the event is designed for children ages 3-10, though everyone is welcome.

“We are requesting for ages 3-10. Of course, everyone is welcome, but it would definitely be more dedicated to those 3 to 10 year olds,” Billingsley said. “But we’re asking family members to come out and bring your kids because everybody likes to jump and play, eat candy, and you know, have some fun.”
