Man arrested after police find video of him sexually assaulting 3-year-old, investigators say
COVINGTON, Tenn. (WMC/Gray News) — A man was arrested after police found a video of him sexually assaulting a 3-year-old, investigators said.
Police were called Monday to a home in Covington. A woman at the home told police she was showering when she noticed she was being filmed by 22-year-old Deondre Dyson, who also lives there.
Police said Dyson was outside the woman’s window. Police said officers found Dyson, and while searching his phone, found a video of him sexually assaulting a 3-year-old.
Dyson is charged with unlawful photography and sexual exploitation of a child.
“This is a troubling investigation on multiple levels,” Covington Police Chief Donna Turner said. “We are working with DCS to identify all victims in this investigation and provide protective and medical services for these children. This case started with an adult, but due to the thorough investigation by our detectives, an alleged monster was uncovered.”
Detectives said there could be more charges once their investigation is complete.
