Birth Choice Jackson ultrasound machine blessing
JACKSON, Tenn. — Birth Choice Jackson hosted a ceremony Wednesday to bless a new ultrasound machine. The $52,000 machine was purchased with designated funds raised in under a year. The ceremony was conducted by Fr. Dennis Schenkel with the local Knights of Columbus Chapter 11-01.
“Prior to this machine, we had the capability of seeing the baby about 5 weeks, 5 days, 6 weeks, 6 days. Now we can see them 5 weeks, 2 days,” said Kim Mayor, director of nursing at Birth Choice Jackson.
The new ultrasound machine incorporates AI technology that improves scan accuracy and enables earlier detection.
