City holds community meeting on Muse Park expansion plans

JACKSON, Tenn. — The city conducted another input meeting about park improvements.

Jackson Parks and Recreation invited the community to learn about their plans and how they plan to pay for them.

The Jackson Parks and Rec Department plans to submit an application to the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation for park amenities.

The park they plan to tackle is one residents in Jackson visit often. The south side of Muse Park features basketball courts, disk golf courses, as well as playgrounds and a fishing pond.

As for the northside, the city plans to add additional features for the community to enjoy.
