Easter Eggstravaganza returns to Jackson with family fun

JACKSON, Tenn.—One event was hopping in Jackson with a hunt to find the most eggs at this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza.

Madison County and Jackson Parks and Recreation Departments presented the annual Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday at 10 a.m.

The event happens at Leeper’s Lane Park and invites kids 3 to 12-years old to come enjoy the fun.

There are several activities for the entire family to enjoy including games, an egg hunt, a visit from Jackson Fire Department, and even the chance to win prizes.

Participants also had the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny or take a photo with him.

“For us, our main cause is to do collaborations with different organizations, and so, for years Parks and Rec has come together as Madison and City to put this event on for the entire community,” said Whitney Billingsley, Superintendent of Recreation Programming.

The Eggstravaganza is free for the community to enjoy and it’s one of the most anticipated local events for the Easter holiday.
