Ja Morant makes donation for 11-year-old hit by car in Crockett County

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Grizzlies player Ja Morant made a huge donation to support the child who was hit by a car in Crockett County.

Morant donated a total of $15,000 to the GoFundMe for the child identified as 11-year-old Sj Pryron, who was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on March 18.

According to family members, Pryon was getting the mail from his grandmother’s mailbox when he was struck.

Crockett County officers reported that the driver stayed at the scene and was fully cooperating with authorities.

Pryon was transferred to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
