Milan church holds 19th annual Cross Walk on Good Friday
MILAN, Tenn. — First General Baptist Church held it’s annual “Cross Walk” Friday.

Participants walked from the Milan save-a-lot, to the church located at 1039 frank street.
Along the route, a member portrayed Jesus carrying the cross to Golgotha to be crucified while being threatened by roman guards.

There was also a crowd of people with signs to raise awareness of the true meaning of Easter.
“I’ve done this five years and I cry all the way back to the church. It’s truly a blessing to be able to do this. And all of it reminds me of what he went through to save somebody like me,” said William Glidewell, who played the role of Jesus.
This is the church’s 19th year presenting the Cross Walk.
