Individual injured by shooting incident in South Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—We received alerts from tipsters following a shooting at a Sonic restaurant in Jackson.

We did confirm the incident with Jackson Police Department.

Multiple first responders were reportedly on scene.

Based on the preliminary investigation, it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the South side Jackson Sonic.

We have reached back out to authorities for an update but there is no further information to release at this time.
