Jackson, TN Neighborhood Services now accepting application for Lawn Care Assistance
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE CITY OF JACKSON:
JACKSON, Tenn. – City of Jackson, TN Neighborhood Service is pleased to announce the launch of its 2026 Lawn Care Assistance Program.

This program will provide free lawn mowing assistance to eligible residents from May to August 2026, with a set number of mows each month. Seniors or individuals with disabilities must apply and meet eligibility requirements to be considered for approval.
The Lawn Care Assistance Program supports residents who can no longer maintain their yards on their own, while helping keep our neighborhoods clean and well maintained. By offering this
service, we reduce blight, prevent code violations, and preserve the beauty and safety of our community.
“The Lawn Care Assistance Program is a direct reflection of our commitment to the well-being of our residents,” said Neighborhood Services Director Elvia Trejo. “By providing this free service, we are supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities who can no longer maintain their yards on their own, while actively reducing blight, preventing code violations, and preserving the overall beauty and safety of our community.”
This program is available to qualifying homeowners within the city limits of Jackson who cannot maintain their lawns due to age, disability, or other hardship. Applications will remain open until
