18-year-old dies after falling out of vehicle’s window on interstate
MURRAY COUNTY, Okla. (KXII/Gray News) — An 18-year-old woman was killed Saturday night when she fell out of a moving vehicle on Interstate 35 in Oklahoma.
Oklahoma troopers said Lani Hicks was sitting in the front passenger window of the vehicle just before 11:30 p.m. when she fell out onto the roadway and was struck by multiple vehicles.
The driver and four other passengers were not injured.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help Hicks’ family pay for her funeral.
“At just 18 years old, Lani had a vibrant personality that brought joy to everyone around her,” the page read. “Her sudden passing has left her family and friends heartbroken, and the loss is felt deeply throughout the community.”
