Agents seize over two pounds of meth in Dyersburg undercover operation

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — Agents with the West Tennessee Drug Task Force closed an investigation Tuesday morning with an undercover operation in the 900 block of Leigh Drive.

According to the WTDTF, agents seized over two pounds of methamphetamine, four grams of Psilocybin and nearly one pound of marijuana during the operation. Electronic scales and baggies for resale were also seized.

One man was arrested and is being charged with possession of a schedule I, II and VI controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. A second man was detained at the scene for investigation.

The case is being prosecuted by the office of the District Attorney General, 29th Judicial District, Danny Goodman Jr. Agents were assisted by the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office.
