Contestants take the stage for Jackson’s Got Talent

JACKSON, Tenn. — Talented individuals from across West Tennessee competed in a special competition and the best part, it’s all for a good cause.

The exchange club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Regions Bank hosted the 2nd annual “Jackson’s Got Talent” at the Ned in downtown Jackson.
Eight contestants took the stage, showcasing their best talents for the chance to win a multitude of prizes, including two thousand dollars and even an interview with a talent agent.

“You know, we had a really good first year and we were like why reinvent the wheel. We don’t have different talent types this year. Last year we had more variety of different talents, but this year they are all vocalists,” said Molly Connor, events and marketing coordinator for the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
All proceeds will go towards the center.
