Man arrested on felony warrant for killing 2-week-old puppy, police say

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX/Gray News) — Mississippi authorities say a man was arrested and charged with killing a young puppy.

According to the Biloxi Police Department, 33-year-old Bradford Duplantis was taken into custody Friday on an active felony warrant for aggravated cruelty to a dog.

Biloxi authorities say Duplantis was arrested in an investigation that began earlier this month when officers responded to a medical call.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Duplantis killed a 2-and-a-half-week-old husky puppy, police said.

Duplantis was booked on a $25,000 bond and taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
