Two People are Charged with TennCare Fraud in McNairy Co. Cases

MCNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn.- Two people in McNairy County have been charged in separate cases, with defrauding TennCare to get prescription drugs. According to the Office of Inspector General Stella Conner, 50, and Linda Cozart, 47, of Ramer, are accused of using their TennCare benefits to get painkillers with the intention of selling a portion of the prescription. TennCare fraud is punishable by up to two years in prison.
