HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. – Henderson County storm victims only have three more days to apply for a low interest disaster loan from the Small Business Administration. Donald Tignor is still recovering from the his injuries after he was thrown from his mobile home during the storm. “We were up in the air going over tree tops when it exploded every thing we had in it plus us, blew out into the cornfield,” said Tignor. Tignor suffered broken bones and his mobile home was scrapped for metal after it exploded. Now that he is out of the hospital he is hoping to get his life back with the help of the SBA. “The clothes you see on me is what people have given me out of the charity of their hearts,” said Tignor. He estimates the storm could cost him $40,000, not including his mobile home. “Pictures of when we lived in West Texas, riding horses and when I was little all that’s gone. Everything is gone,” said Tignor. Tignor said he does not have any insurance and is thankful for the help of so many.
