Police Arrest Man for Kidnapping and Child Neglect

JACKSON, Tenn.- A Jackson man free on bond, is back in jail after police said he kidnapped his girlfriend early Thursday, leaving her three young young children home alone. Parrish Transou, 32, is charged with kidnapping and three counts of child neglect. Officers said the woman was able to make a call to her cousin before being forced from her home just before two this morning. Transou’s car was stopped and he was arrested just after 3 a.m. The children were found home asleep and unharmed. Transou’s $40,000 bond was revoked during Thursday’s court appearance. His court date is set for next Thursday.
