Convicted Felon Facing Drug and Weapons Charges

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- Madison County deputies have arrested a convicted felon while executing an arrest warrant for theft of property over $1,000. During their investigation Wednesday, deputies found several small bags or marijuana and other forms of drug paraphernalia in Vernon Renard Sesson’s Denmark home. Investigators said they also found a loaded sawed-off shotgun. Sesson, 48, was charged with drug possession with the intent to resell, and possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $50,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court next week.
