Adults Volunteer for “Read Across America”

JACKSON, Tenn.- All week long, community members have taken time out of their day to read to classrooms full of children as part of “Read Across America,” in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, which is actually Saturday. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News stopped by Lincoln Elementary School, Friday morning and found volunteers reading their favorite Dr. Seuss books to students. “Read Across America” is an initiative on reading created by the National Education Association.
