Man Convicted of Sex Crimes Against Children

JACKSON, Tenn. – A Jackson man has been convicted of committing sex crimes against children. On Tuesday, Allen Bond,38, faced a Madison County jury on charges of rape of a child and attempted sexual battery. According to police, the jury found him guilty of attempted sexual battery on a 13-year-old, but not guilty of raping an 8-year-old girl. However, police said the jury did find Bond guilty of aggravated sexual battery on the 8-year-old girl. He will be sentenced April 15.
