Elderly Man Arrested, Accused of Beating Granddaughter
DYERSBURG, Tenn.- Dyersburg police are investigating a domestic assault case involving an elderly man. According to investigators, William Hobson, 87, of Dyer County was arrested on Wednesday, accused of physically assaulting his 20- year-old granddaughter. Investigators said this is not the first time Hobson has been arrested , but did not confirm if he has assaulted his granddaughter before this incident. Hobson was released Thursday morning on a $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Dyersburg City Court on Friday.
