2022 Hub City Health Expo held on Friday
JACKSON, Tenn. — A free community event is promoting wellness and a healthy lifestyle.
The Jackson Recreation and Parks Department, in partnership with Sisters With Aspiring Goals and the Jackson-Madison County School System, hosted the Hub City Health Expo on Friday.
The expo was held at at North Parkway Middle School in east Jackson.
Students heard from multiple guest speakers who shared their message on the importance of self care, education, and mental health.
Organizers also had vendors set up booths for students to tour, which provided health-related information and takeaways.
“So today’s event is about letting our youth engage, learn, participate because their voices matter. Because they are our future to a healthier generation,” said Bridgett Parham, Recreation Manager for the City of Jackson.
