Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant returns to Jackson next week
JACKSON, Tenn. — A new young lady will be crowned in Jackson next week as the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant returns.
The preliminary competition will take place at 7 p.m. nightly from June 15-17 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. The finals will take place on Saturday, June 18, when a new a winner will be crowned.
The 36 contestants vying for the title are set to arrive in Jackson on Sunday, June 12, and the public is invited to meet them at the Civic Center at 2 p.m. that day during opening ceremonies.
Following a formal introduction of the contestants, the first Iris Princess will be crowned and an autograph signing will be held.
Tickets for the pageant can be bought from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the lobby of the Carl Perkins Civic Center or online at the Miss Tennessee Volunteer ticket page.
