Prison Officer Stabbed, Hospitalized

WHITEVILLE, Tenn.- An officers at the Whiteville Correctional Facility in Hardeman County is hospitalized in Memphis after being stabbed while inside the prison Monday afternoon. Officials told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News the jailer was listed in stable condition as of Monday evening. No details have been released about what led up to the attack or if anyone has been charged.
