Study reveals Tennessee’s favorite Elvis Presley song

This week marks the release of Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis,” the much-anticipated biopic on the King of Rock starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks.

Ahead of the film’s debut, Scholarship Institute analyzed search trends to find out which song each state across the U.S. can’t get enough of.

The study revealed that Tennessee’s favorite Elvis song is “Love Me Tender.”

“Love Me Tender” was released in 1956, reaching the top of the Billboard music charts and inspiring dozens of cover versions throughout the decades.

“Elvis” releases nationwide in theaters on June 24, 2022.
