One Killed in Dyer Co. Crash

DYER COUNTY, Tenn.- An 18-year-old is dead and two others are recovering from injuries suffered in a one-car crash. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Charles Warren died when the vehicle he was riding in left Highway 51, struck a tree and fence, before entering a field and then hitting a tree, head-on. The wreck happened about 13 miles from Newbern, just before 5, Tuesday. Investigators said criminal charges are pending until the investigation of the crash is completed. =
