Spring-Like Weather Continues

From thunderstorms to warm temperatures, the spring-like weather continues in west Tennessee. A powerful weather maker will push into our area, sparking strong to severe storms as we start the new workweek.

Until then, expect a mostly cloudy sky overnight with showers and thunderstorms. Lows will actually warm throughout the night to the middle and upper 60s. The wind will be out of control, sustained from the east at 10 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.

On Monday, expect mostly cloudy sky with strong to severe storms. Highs in the middle and upper 60s will drop throughout the day as a strong cold front pushes through. The wind will be strong, sustained from the S at 15-20 mph with gusts as high as 35 mph.

There is a Flash Flood Watch active through Monday. Some locations could get up to 3 inches of rain by Monday. Also, due to strong winds, a Wind Advisory is active through Monday.

Our next weak weather maker will bring a few showers late on Tuesday into Wednesday. Otherwise, expect a mostly sunny sky throughout the new workweek as temperatures drop to around normal.
