Dresden mayor’s lawsuit against aldermen ends
DRESDEN, Tenn. — A lawsuit by Dresden Mayor Jeff Washburn against the Board of Alderman has come to an end.
According to a news release from Herron Law Offices, the lawsuit came to an end when six alderman hired an attorney, who then negotiated a settlement.
The release says that the mayor and alderman will adhere to the Open Meetings Law, follow the town’s Social Media Policy, and rescind the resolution censuring the Washburn.
