Union Students Bring Health Fair to Maury City

MAURY CITY, Tenn.- Some nursing students at Union University held a health fair, Monday to help local elementary students. The Health Fair was at Maury City Elementary School in Crockett County. The Union students held the event for third through 5th graders to help promote good health and disease prevention. ” Healthy habits start early in life and a lot of these kids will experience bullyIng and things of that nature and we are here today to teach them how to deal with these things in life, said Union student, Adrean Greer. During the health fair the students went through six stations about safety, nutrition, hygiene, bullying, stress and exercise and students received prizes for going through all of the stations.
