Man Cleared in Benton Co. Burglaries
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn.-Police in Camden told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News charges against a man originally believed responsible for several burglaries have been dropped. Waymon Tharpe, Junior was suspected of several break-ins but officers say they discovered he had an alibi. Investigators said his arrest had been based on a photo line up, but he has since been cleared. The search continues for the actual thief.
